Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen

Chameleon: Hollywood Con Queen investigates a scammer who posed as powerful women in the film industry and sent freelance workers on expensive, humiliating errands.

Campside and reporters follow the people who lost money and time, and the long effort to name the person on the phone. The series is one season of a franchise that later told other cons.

It is narrative fraud reporting with a Hollywood setting that never quite becomes glamour. The interest is in the performance: accents, titles, the hunger of people who wanted the job to be real.

Play the Hollywood season’s chapters, which identify themselves. Other Chameleon seasons are separate stories and sometimes arrive as promos in the same neighborhood of the feed.
